Japão acelerará desenvolvimento de míssil antinavio Type 12
The surface-to-ship missile of the Western Artillery of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Forces launches into the air from the Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, Hawaii, July 12. O Mainichi Shimbun relata que Tóquio pretende acelerar o desenvolvimento do antinavio Type 12 aprimorado e implantá-lo antes do planejado.
O novo míssil, cujo alcance é aumentado de 200 para 900 km, entrará em produção limitada enquanto passa por testes.
O plano para iniciar a produção limitada foi definido para o ano fiscal de 2023.
